Foundation Day
Marking the journey of our organization, Foundation Day is a special occasion for Yashasvi Mahila Samajik Sanstha. On this day all members gather at our premises. We arrange small celebrations to commemorate this day’s significance. Our celebration is inaugurated by our President, and her motivating speech. We engage in purposeful activities that reflect our commitment to our mission. It is a day of reflection, gratitude, and recommitment to our vision of empowering women and transforming lives.
Independence Day
Every year, on the 15th of August, we celebrate Independence Day, paying tribute to our ancestors who selflessly fought for our nation’s freedom. The president proudly hoists the national flag during this momentous occasion. We organize cultural programs that engage children and students in drawing competitions. We also award winners and runners-up to encourage and recognize their talents. The atmosphere is filled with joy, excitement, and a profound sense of patriotism as we come together to honor our nation’s independence.
Republic Day
We joyfully celebrate India’s Republic Day on 26th January, a significant historic occasion that highlights the unity, diversity, and inclusiveness of our nation. Our celebration begins as we proudly hoist the national flag, symbolizing our commitment to upholding the values enshrined in the Constitution. We also arrange a vibrant cultural event, where we, along with local children and residents, observe and honor this memorable day. Additionally, we provide free stationery materials to underprivileged students, contributing to their educational journey.
Menstrual Hygiene Day
We also celebrate Menstrual Hygiene Day on 28th May. On this day, we organize camps to raise awareness about maintaining proper hygiene during menstruation. We provide valuable information on menstrual health and distribute sanitary napkins to women in rural areas. Our aim is to empower women with knowledge and resources, ensuring their menstrual health and well-being. Together, we break the stigma and promote a healthy approach to menstruation.
International Women’s Day
We observe International Women’s Day on 8th March as a significant occasion to celebrate women’s empowerment. On this day, we organize a health camp where women can avail themselves of comprehensive health check-ups. We also take the opportunity to recognize and honor women who have made notable achievements. Recently, we awarded the women who have contributed to our society the prestigious Sri Shakti Puraskar during a special ceremony held at Yerwada, Pune. It is a momentous day to appreciate and empower women, highlighting their incredible contributions to society.
Savitrimata Phule Jayanti
We also celebrate Savitrimata Phule Jayanti on 3rd January. On this day we arrange some programs in honoring the remarkable life and contributions of Savitribai Phule, a pioneer in women’s education and social reform. Our president inaugurates the program by paying tribute to her indomitable spirit and progressive vision. We strive to carry forward her legacy by promoting education, empowerment, and gender equality, creating a society where every woman can thrive and fulfill her potential.
